Refurbished Familiar caused quite a splash in Pauper when it was released as part of Modern Horizons 3 , injecting new gas into affinity decks and slotting right into Rakdos Experimental Synthesizer decks
Of course, my wish for this card to be real lines up with my wish that will never be realized - draw-go control/tempo decks that can also make use of cantrips and other deck churning effects to find answers whenever relevant
In regards to DnD I would have loved this aura to lose some toughness per damage taken to be more in line with the actual spell in the game (and to give it a chance in draft/sealed to be removed by swinging into it rather than having to wait for someone to remove the actual aura or creature)
